KeenelandWith its tranquil setting and lovely stone fences and buildings, this national historic landmark is one of the most genteel and beautiful racetracks in the world. Visitors are welcome year round. Live Thoroughbred racing takes place in April and October and live Thoroughbred auctions are held several times a year. Operation Hours: Open year-round. During race meets, first post time is 1:05 p.m. No racing on Mondays or Tuesdays. Grounds are open for visitation from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Call ahead for guided tours.

Downtown Mt SterlingTake a step back in time with an historic downtown walking tour beginning at our history museum next to the courthouse. Mt. Sterling offers unique shopping options including Lighthouse Candles and Spoonful of Sugar Bakery and Café, Oopsie Daisies and Robert's Antiques. When visiting Mt. Sterling, be sure to bring an appetite! Stroll the historic downtown and dine at a local favorite or sample the offerings at the many nationally recognized restaurants around town.

Rupp ArenaRupp Arena is an arena located in downtown Lexington, Kentucky, U.S. Since its opening in 1976, it has been the centerpiece of Lexington Center, a convention and shopping facility owned by an arm of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government, which is located next to the Lexington Hyatt and Hilton hotels. Rupp Arena also serves as home court to the University of Kentucky men's basketball program, and is named after legendary former Kentucky coach Adolph Rupp. With an official capacity of 23,500, it is the largest arena designed specifically for basketball, as well as the largest indoor arena by capacity, in the United States. In Rupp Arena, the Kentucky Wildcats men's basketball team is second in the nation in college basketball home attendance.[5] The arena also regularly hosts concerts, conventions and shows.
